رئيس مجلس رئاسة البوسنة والهرسك، إنه لمن دواعي سروري، أن أرحب بفخامتكم والوفد المرافق لكم، في أول زيارة لمصر على هذا المستوى الرفيع من دولة البوسنة والهرسك منذ أكثر من "14" عاماً، وأؤكد ثقتي، في أن هذه الزيارة ستسهم في إثراء علاقاتنا الثنائية.. وستدفع بها نحو آفاق جديدة.. لتحقيق ما يصبو إليه شعبا بلدينا الصديقين.

السيدات والسادة،
لقد كانت مصر من أوائل الدول التي أقامت علاقات دبلوماسية مع البوسنة والهرسك، حيث تحملت مسئوليتها كدولة راعية للسلام في العالم من خلال مشاركتها في عملية حفظ وبناء السلام في البوسنة والهرسك، وأود في هذا الصدد أن أؤكد موقف مصر الراسخ باحترام سيادة ووحدة أراضي البوسنة والهرسك، واستعدادنا للتعاون مع مختلف مكونات مجتمع البوسنة والهرسك بالشكل الذي يحقق الاستقرار والتنمية فيها.

كما أغتنم هذه الفرصة لأتقدم بالتهنئة بمناسبة موافقة المجلس الأوروبي مؤخراً على فتح باب مفاوضات انضمام البوسنة والهرسك إلى الاتحاد الأوروبي، متمنياً التوفيق والتقدم على هذا المسار المهم لمستقبل البلاد. 

السيدات والسادة،
 لقد أجريت مع فخامة الرئيس اليوم مباحثات مهمة عكست رغبة مشتركة في تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية، وأكدت في هذا الصدد حرصنا على تعميق وتطوير كافة أشكال التعاون، القائمة بين البلدين. 

كما شهدت المباحثات استعراض جهود تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري والاستثماري بين البلدين، حيث أكدنا الاهتمام المشترك بضرورة استخدام آليات التعاون القائمة وتطويرها بما في ذلك تفعيل اللجنة المشتركة للتعاون الاقتصادي والعلمي والفني لدفع جهود تعزيز التبادل التجاري بين البلدين، فضلاً عن ترحيبنا بالعمل لتعزيز التبادل السياحي من خلال إطلاق خط طيران مباشر من بعض المدن البوسنية إلى مدينة الغردقة وبما يساهم في تنشيط حركة السياحة بين البلدين. 

وقد عكست مداولاتنا أيضاً تقارب وجهات النظر، حول مجمل القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، حيث توافقنا على ضرورة بذل كافة المساعي نحو تهدئة التوتر الإقليمي، وتحقيق الاستقرار في الشرق الأوسط، فضلاً عن أهمية تكاتف الجهود الدولية، لتحقيق الوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار في قطاع غزة وإنفاذ المساعدات الإغاثيــة لمنـاطق القطـــاع كافــــة، مع الانخراط الجاد والفوري في مسارات التوصل لحل سياسي عادل ومستدام للقضية الفلسطينية على أساس حل الدولتين وإنفاذ دولة فلسطينية على خطوط الرابع من يونيو 1967، وعاصمتها "القدس الشرقية".

السيدات والسادة،
ختاماً، أود أن أتقدم بخالص الشكر لفخامة الرئيس.. على توجيه الدعوة لي لزيارة دولة البوسنة والهرسك الصديقة، وأعرب عن تطلعي إلى تلبيتها، في أقرب فرصة ممكنة.. لمواصلة العمل على ترفيع العلاقات بين البلدين.  
كما أجدد ترحيبي، بفخامة رئيس مجلس رئاسة البوسنة والهرسك في مصر، متمنياً أن تكون هذه الزيارة خطوة رئيسية في سبيل تعزيز وتطوير التعاون المشترك، بين بلدينا الصديقين، بما يثري العلاقات والروابط التاريخية التي تجمع شعبي البلدين.

Your Excellency, Denis Bećirović,

Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina,

It gives me great pleasure to welcome Your Excellency and your accompanying delegation from the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the first high-level visit to Egypt in over 14 years. I would like to emphasize my confidence that this visit will contribute to enriching our bilateral relations and to promoting them toward broader prospects to achieve the aspirations of the two countries’ peoples.

Ladies and gentlemen,

Egypt was among the first countries to establish diplomatic relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina. It bore its responsibility as a peace-loving nation in the world through its participation in peace-keeping and peace-building processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this regard, I would like to underscore Egypt’s firm position in respect of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and our preparedness to cooperate with the various components of its society, in a manner that achieves stability and development there.

I would like to seize this opportunity to extend congratulations for the recent European Council’s approval to open EU accession negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, wishing you success and progress on this vital course of the future of the country.

Ladies and gentlemen,

Today, I held crucial talks with His Excellency the President. Our deliberations demonstrated a shared desire to cultivate closer bilateral relations. I confirmed our commitment to strengthening and further advancing all forms of cooperation between the two countries.

Our meeting also tackled efforts to bolster economic, trade and investment relations between our countries. We underlined our joint interest to harness and develop the existing mechanisms of cooperation, including the activation of the Joint Committee on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation to increase trade between the two countries. We also welcomed efforts toward enhancing tourism between our countries by launching direct flights between several Bosnian cities to Egypt’s Red Sea city of Hurghada, which shall contribute to reinvigorating the flow of tourists between our countries.

Our deliberations demonstrated an alignment in views on regional and international issues of mutual interest. We agreed on the crucial need to exert utmost efforts toward de-escalation and reinforcing stability in the Middle East region. We also concurred about the vital importance of concerted international efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and to ensure the flow of humanitarian aid to all parts of the sector, while engaging immediately and in earnest on tracks conducive to reaching a political, just and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue. Such settlement shall be based on the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian State, along the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Ladies and gentlemen,

In conclusion, I would like to extend sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency the President for inviting me to visit the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I look forward to such a visit at the earliest opportunity possible in order to continue our efforts toward promoting our countries’ relations.

Once again, I would like to welcome His Excellency, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, in Egypt. I hope this visit will mark a significant step on our joint path to forging closer cooperation between our countries, so as to enrich the relations and historical bonds our countries and their peoples share.
